It was a tough commute along Interstate 805 Thursday morning.
First, an accident blocked two lanes on northbound I-805 between El Cajon Boulevard and Interstate 8 beginning around 4:30 a.m.
It took CHP and work crews almost 90 minutes to clear the scene.
Then, about a half hour later, a vehicle overturned vehicle blocking two lanes on northbound I-805 between Governor Drive and Miramar Road/La Jolla Village Drive.
The accident scene cleared around 6 a.m. but the commute was still slow just before 7 a.m.
