Car Injures Teen Girl Pedestrian

A teenage girl suffered a brain bleed and open leg fracture Friday night when a car struck her while she was crossing Kearny Villa Rd near Interstate 805.

At about 11:30 p.m, the 17-year-old was struck by a 26-year-old man driving a sedan, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

No charges have yet been filed, and there is no word on the girl’s current condition.
