2 Teens Shot in Skyline, Emerald Hills

Detectives worked early into the morning investigating a shooting that injured two teenagers in San Diego.

A 15-year-old Skyline victim was shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital once paramedics arrived. The 17-year-old victim showed up at Scripps Mercy Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shin.

Police say the teenagers were two of four people in a Hyundai that was shot at while driving south on Pyramid Street in Emerald Hills.

At least six evidence markers surrounded a dark colored Lexus where police say bullet casings littered the ground.

Police said a bullet-riddled car was found in the 7700 block of Shorewood Drive in Skyline, where the 15-year-old lives with his grandfather.

Officers are investigating if the incidents were gang-related.

The Hyundai they were in was later found about 5 miles away parked on the 7700 block of Shoreline where at least one of the victims lived in the Skyline community.

Officers are still looking for two people involved in the incident who are on the run.

They say the wounded teens are being questioned to help them solve what sparked the shooting.
