A car chase led police through city streets from Point Loma to Mira Mesa early Thursday morning.
The pursuit lasted about 40 minutes and covered several city streets, according to CHP dispatchers.
The chase started at West Point Loma Blvd. and Sunset Cliffs Blvd. at about 2 a.m. CHP stopped the suspect on Londonderry Ave. near Gold Coast Dr. at about 2:40 a.m.
One suspect in the vehicle has been taken into custody. Dispatchers could not say if the chase ended in a collision, nor if there were any injuries.
