One person was killed when a motorcycle collided with an SUV early Friday.
Firefighters responded to the call for a motorcycle accident along Dehesa Road at Willow Glen Drive around 6:50 a.m.
Aerials of the accident scene showed the motorcycle underneath the front of a Tahoe in an area where the road curves around a bend.
California Highway Patrol officers say the driver on the motorcycle lost control. The Tahoe driver used his brakes and swerved to avoid the motorcycle but the bike slid underneath the Tahoe, crushing the motorcycle driver.
Emergency crews could be seen providing medical care to the driver of the motorcycle but Heartland Fire later confirmed the person died in the crash.
He's been identified by officials as a 45-year-old man from El Cajon.
The CHP has not ruled out weather as a contributing factor in the crash.
Dehesa Road was closed for several hours during the investigation.
