Authorities say one person was killed and four others were injured in a chain-reaction crash in San Diego County caused by a suspected drunk driver.
San Diego police Sgt. Ron Glass says a 57-year-old man was arrested following the crash Friday night involving six vehicles on surface streets in Carmel Mountain.
Glass says the suspect was driving at a high rate of speed when his car hit the rear of a Toyota Corolla stopped at a red light. The driver of the Corolla died at the scene.
A woman and three children in another car complained of pain and were treated at the scene and released.
