The 71-year-old woman who died Saturday afternoon in a crash in San Marcos has been identified by the San Diego County Coroner's Office.
Lorraine Marie Donato from San Marcos was driving an Infiniti sedan northbound on Discovery St. around 4:20 p.m.
Sheriff's investigators believe she may have run a red light at the intersection of Discovery St. and W. San Marcos Blvd.
The Infiniti crashed into the right side of a Ford F250 truck, which was making a left turn onto W. San Marcos Blvd.
Donato died at the scene. The driver and passengers in the truck were not hurt.
