One person has died following a big rig crash on Interstate 5 in Las Pulgas, California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials said.
The crash happened at 1:58 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 5 North near Las Pulgas Road when a big rig collided with the embankment, CHP officials said.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene, CHP officials said.
It is unclear what lead to the crash, CHP officials said.
Caltrans officials said the collision, on the right shoulder, backed up traffic.
