At Least 18 DUI Cases Dismissed: City

At least 18 individuals pulled over for driving under the influence are off the hook as a result of charges filed against an ex-cop.
Anthony Arevalos is accused of eliciting sexual favors from women he pulled over. He currently faces 21 felony charges.
Arevalos was unable to proceed as a witness against a number of individuals who'd been arrested for drunk driving in the spring because he was tied up in these legal matters, according to the city attorney’s office.
As a result, their cases were dismissed, they essentially got a lucky legal break.
Several witness testimonies allege that Arevalos pulled them over and suggested or physically abused them.
