Manuel Navarro said business is picking up while the economy is getting worse.  Navarro is a debt counselor for Consumer Credit Counseling Services.  He said people are coming in more stressed than they were before.  Not only that, but they're coming in younger.  Today people coming in for debt advice are as young as college students.

Most clients come in with huge credit card debt.  Navarro says his job is to help them get back on their feet.

"Sometimes you need someone else's point of view to either confirm what you think or to give you a fresh perspective on how to change things," said Navarro.  He said rent and food costs are going up but paychecks are staying the same.  Navarro said that means people have to make do with less.
