The CBP officer was two months pregnant at the time. The couple's two children, ages 6 and 4, were home at the time of the attack.

Alex Arteaga fled the scene. Maribel Arteaga later died at the hospital.

Now, a $5,000 reward is offered for information leading to the capture of Alex Arteaga. It is believed he is in the Sanchez Taboada neighborhood of Tijuana. Mexico. He may be driving a blue or white van with Baja plate BCW-66-27.
