Did You Feel It?

A magnitude 4.9 earthquake rattled San Diego County Saturday evening. The USGS initially reported the earthquake as a magnitude 4.8.

The quake hit at 8.08 p.m. and was centered near Borrego Springs. It rattled areas as far away as San Diego and Riverside Counties.

“I was drying the rear bumper of my car at the car wash, and I thought someone had hopped into my car because it moved up n down. I looked up but nobody was there,” Emmanuel 'Manny' Sandoval wrote on Facebook.

“In Poway. The shower doors rattled for a good long time,” wrote Momfrog Lorita.

“Felt it here in San Marcos alright... it was a good shake,” Maureen O'Sullivan Quillopo wrote.

There were no reports of any damage.
