Chula Vista Police: Sex Assault Suspect Now in Custody

A Chula Vista man is in custody in connection with two sexual assaults in the South Bay.

Last month, 49-year-old Calvin Kemp tried to sexually assault a woman in a business on Third Avenue in Chula Vista, said police. About three weeks before that, investigators said that Kemp attacked another woman. 

Kemp was on parole at the time of his arrest. He faces charges that include attempted rape and kidnapping.
