Boob Bust Has Local Ties

A San Diego woman walks into a cosmetic surgery center in Huntington Beach, asking for about $12,000 worth of work.
This sounds like the beginning of a joke, but no such luck.
"She wished to have a breast lift, an implant exchange," Dr. Larry Nichter at Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery. "She wanted to go larger, and have some lipo on her arms, back and thighs."
"Cindy," as she was calling herself, was preapproved to have the surgery done. The only problem? It wasn't her credit card number. At least that's what a man from San Diego said. He called the facility a few weeks after she was nipped, tucked, lifted and um, enlarged, asking about a $12,000 charge to his credit card.
With flags fully raised, the Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery did some checking and found that "Cindy" was really Yvonne Jean Pampellonne, 30. The center matched the serial number on her old implants, the ones she "traded out," with her name by using a search of surgical records.
Now, Pampellonne is set to be arraigned May 27, charged with commercial burglary, grand theft and identity theft. Her attorney Paul Wallin said he's looking forward to court because when all the facts are established,"a completely different picture" will emerge.
