A wrong-way crash caused a dump-truck hauling a trailer to flip and injured at least two people.

The crash took place Wednesday at about 8:30 a.m. on the state Route 94 on-ramp to Interstate 5 south. A white car traveling in the wrong direction caused the crash, according to officials. That vehicle apparently was flipped around during the crash and struck a Subaru SUV.

The dump truck spilled its load of what appears to be dirt all over the on-ramp, prompting an extended SigAlert for the on-ramp. Authorities said debris from the accident caused another accident on the nearby I-5.

A white box truck was also stopped at the scene, but it is no yet known if it sustained any damage in the incident.

The drivers of the white car and the flipped truck were both hurt, It's not yet known how seriously injured the victims were. The California Highway Patrol said that the driver of the white car was acting strangely after the accident, but it's not known if alcohol or drugs played any part in the cause of the crash.
