Two more earthquakes rattled Yorba Linda Thursday night. At least three quakes of magnitude 3.0 occurred Thursday in that Orange County community.
A 4.0 shaker hit at 8:27 p.m. Thursday, three miles east northeast of Yorba Linda. Another quake struck one minute later, and it measured 3.0. It was located two miles east northeast of Yorba Linida.
Cops and firefighters said there were no reports of damage or injuries from either of the evening quakes.
Earlier Thursday, an earthquake hit at 4:56 p.m. in Yorba Linda. That one measured 3.8.
There were no reported injuries or damage in that temblor.
After the afternoon first earthquake, Brea police Lt. Gregg Hayden, whose department patrols both Brea and Yorba Linda, said he had gotten no calls about damage.
"I didn't even feel it," he said.
Officers on duty when quakes hit "do a windshield survey" as they drive around and "they haven't found anything yet," he said early Thursday night.
The shaker set off car and burglar alarms, Hayden said.
"We're still fielding alarm calls," the lieutenant said about a half-hour after the temblor.
