A chase that lasted three minutes left two people injured and at least three vehicles damaged, according to police.

Carlsbad police received calls Wednesday about four people inside a green Honda throwing objects at other cars near the intersection of Aviara Pkwy and Palomar Airport Rd.

An officer tried to pull over a vehicle matching the description on Interstate-5. The Honda got off on Carlsbad Village Dr. and led police on a three minute pursuit reaching speeds of 70 mph, police said.

The chase ended when the suspect vehicle collided with two other vehicles at Carlsbad Village Dr. and Monroe St.
