Enter Caring Bridge, a web service that helps family and friends connect during a difficult time.

Caring Bridge enables users to build private, personalized websites to help keep friends and family informed and updated. Guests who visit the sites can leave messages of support in the guest book area.

Think of it as a social networking tool for people facing illness.
