Science with a View

As part of the San Diego's first annual Science Festival, the Cabrillo National Monument will get on board this weekend.

On Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM, the park conducted its first ever "Science Day".  The public had the chance to learn all about the various flora, fauna and geology that inhabit the park, directly from the scientists who work and do research there.

The topics included the tide pools, resident snakes, the geological history of unique Point Loma and of course, the critters that swim and climb around this great San Diego landmark.

Check out the Monument's website for more information.
