SDSU students are taking a global stance with events leading up to Earth Day.
Students who sport the red and black are going green. SDSU is 'Going Green' , with plenty of fun events leading up to Earth Day 2009, starting with connecting San Diego's youth to nature.
SDSU faculty, Associated Students and the SDSU Children's Center are joining together Thursday, April 16 at 10 a.m. in the SDSU Memory Park for a tree planting ceremony to promote environmental sustainability within the college community. The ceremony officially kicks off SDSU's GreenFest. After the ceremony, students will work with children, planting rosemary seeds and connecting with "Nature in our Backyard".

Wednesday, April 15:
Bike Breakfast: Aztec Center Patio Stage at 8:30 a.m.
Green Awareness Fair: Aztec Center Walkway from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dance Competition & Recycled Art Show: Aztec Center Patio Stage at 12 p.m.
Enviro-Fashion Show: Aztec Center, Montezuma Hall at 6 p.m.
Thursday, April 16:
Green Awareness Fair: Aztec Center Walkway from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Workshops: Aztec Center, Casa Real from 10 a.m - 2 p.m.
Nooner Concert & Tie-Dye Extravaganza: Aztec Center Patio Stage at 12 p.m.
Film Screening - "Battleground Earth": Aztec Center, Montezuma Hall at 6 p.m.
