David Cook & Kimberly Caldwell Split

“American Idol” Season 7 winner David Cook is single again.

A source close to the star confirmed he and fellow “Idol” alumni, Kimberly Caldwell, have broken up.

David and Kimberly, both 26, began dating not long after he won “Idol” in Spring 2008.

“American Idol” Season 8 returns on Tuesday night at 8/7c on Fox.

Every time I see them together I think of the word MAGIC....Carly is ADORABLE and David looks so natural and happy when he is with her. The sight of them just makes me smile!
