Driver Rams 2 Men in Strip Club Lot: Cops

The suspect plowed into the victims intentionally, police said.

Two men might lose one or both of their legs after they were pinned between two vehicles in a strip club parking lot, allegedly by a driver who intentionally rammed them after an argument, police said.

The men were in the parking lot of Sam’s Hofbrau on Olympic Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles when they were hit at 1:30 a.m., police said.

Video footage of the scene showed the aftermath of the incident with a black Mini Cooper pinned between a BMW and a wall.

The victims, ages 24 and 57, were taken to a hospital where they were in stable condition.

The Associated Press said one man could lose a leg, while the other could lose two.

The driver believed to be responsible was identified as Terrence Conrad Meeks, 40, of Paramount. He was being held at an LA jail on attempted murder charges.

Police believe Meeks intentionally rammed the men with his sedan, said Alex Martinez, an LAPD spokesman.

“This wasn’t an accident,” Martinez said. “Because of how the vehicle used, the intent was there."

Police were investigating whether a fight or an argument that stemmed from in the club prompted the attack, Martinez said.

Police were reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses for clues.
