Server Pistol-Whipped in Midnight Denny's Robbery

Three suspects wearing bandanas fled the Denny's in a teal or blue getaway car.

Three men wearing bandanas and wielding firearms robbed customers at gunpoint at a Pomona Denny’s restaurant early Tuesday.

Police received emergency 911 calls around 12:30 a.m. reporting that three men entered the restaurant and brandished weapons.

The robbers got away with personal belongings from customers and cash from the registers.

The manager of the restaurant told NBC4’s Annette Arreola that one of the suspects pistol-whipped a server.

He suffered a fractured nose, but is recovering well, according to the manager.

The suspects ran from the restaurant to a teal or blue getaway vehicle in the parking lot.

The manager also said the employees were still frazzled from the holdup early Tuesday morning.

The Denny’s restaurant is located at 1504 Gillette Road.

The three men reportedly targeted the Denny’s due to its location next to the 10 Freeway.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to call Pomona Police Department's Detective Bureau at (909) 620-2085.

Annette Arreola contributed to this report.
