A 3.4 earthquake was reported around 2:58 a.m. about 3 miles northwest of San Fernardino near Pacoima, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Residents reported feeling the earthquake in Glendale, North Hollywood, Sylmar, Valencia, and as far as Palmdale.
