With California facing a 13 percent unemployment rate, NBC 7/39 News in the Morning has created "Jobs Week," a time during May devoted to employment. During this week, viewers will have the opportunity to make a pitch for their next job on the show.

For those who are interested, here are the instructions: send us a 30 second video of your pitch explaining why you should be hired, along with your contact information (name and e-mail address).

Who knows, your future employer may be watching so why not give it a shot? Send all submissions to isee@nbcsandiego.com.
