Police are investigating a robbery at a San Diego Union Bank where the thief went to unusual extremes in disguising his identity.It happened Thursday around 11:45 a.m. at 344 Laurel St.Police said a 40-year-old man walked in wearing a George Washington wig, a fake white beard and a beige floppy hat. He approached a teller and handed over a demand note.
He put an undisclosed amount of cash into a black backpack and left the bank, heading northbound on 3rd Avenue, police said.Anyone with information is asked to call police.
