SAN DIEGO -- There is now less than 48 hours to file your income taxes.

If you haven't done yours yet, you're not alone. Some local businesses are staying open late to help procrastinators meet the April 15 deadline.
H&R Block in San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood will be open 24 hours starting MondayTax experts said it's important for those with a balance due to file by the deadline. They also said taxpayers should watch out for math mistakes and not forget write-offs."A lot of people here in San Diego were affected by the wildfires in October, so you may have some deductions, some casualty losses because of that," said H&R Block district Manager Diane Lipinski.Anybody getting a refund this year who has filed electronically, can expect a refund within seven days. Those who file by mail could take up to eight weeks to get theirs.
