UCSD Strives To Be Greenest University

The University of California, San Diego, is taking steps to become the leading user of renewable energy among the nation's universities.


Special Section: Green Is Universal

The school hopes to accomplish its goal within the next few years. On Thursday, school officials talked about some of the steps they would be taking to make UCSD greener.

They said the university would soon generate 10 to 15 percent of its electricity with alternative energy sources.
