Booming Weirdness on Tap Tonight

The great thing about the music scene in San Diego is that some nights are jam packed with local and touring favorites, and other times, like tonight, the bands are a bit more obscure. You have to dig a little to see if perhaps something tempts your aural sensibilities that you might not otherwise have known about. Between the booming weirdness of John Maus at the Casbah, the eclectic music of Tinariwen of the Sahara Desert north of Mali at the Belly Up, Sundrop Electric at the Tin Can, and Drew Grow and the Pastors' Wives at the Soda Bar, you should have no problem discovering something a little bit different and eclectic tonight in San Diego.
