In search of the best musical talent in Southern California, the Musicpalooza Contest returns to the San Diego County Fair today, Friday, June 18, on the Coors Light Rock On Stage. With a formidable $10,000 grand prize on the line, the preliminary round -- between 2-7 p.m. -- will feature 24 musicians, divided into two divisions, solo singers and bands. Hosted by SoundDiego's Chris Cantore, San Diego artists competing in the three-week competition include Steal The Scenery, Ahmad Muhammad, Natisha Lyne, and Slower.
The grand prize and "People's Choice" winners will be announced at the finals, Saturday, July 3, on the Paddock Stage.
