Eddie Vedder Sings for Haiti

"My City of Ruins" is a Bruce Springsteen song written in November 2000 to help promote the revitalization of Asbury Park, N.J.

Present day: Former San Diego resident Eddie Vedder releases a haunting live version of "My City in Ruins" (from the Kennedy Center Honors) to benefit Artists for Peace and Justice Haiti Relief.

Vedder is just one of the many recording artists who have stepped up to help out the victims of the devastating quake. During last Friday's broadcast on most of the major networks and cable outlets, Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Bono and the Edge, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige and many others performed, with audio recordings of their performances then being sold online to benefit the stricken nation. And on Sunday, RadioHead performed an intimitate surprise show in L.A. and raised more than $500,000, with all proceeds going to the Oxfam Haiti relief fund.
