SANTEE, Calif. -- The traditional visit to the dentist is getting a makeover in East County. Santee is now home to the first all women's medical-dental spa.

The premise? Have a cavity filled while listening to a soothing fountain and getting a relaxing massage. The River View Medical Dentist Spa was conceived by dentist Shirin Dorin as a one-stop shop.

Dorin said short of major surgery, you can get everything to enhance your looks at their office.

"You can come and have your teeth worked on, you can get a massage, you can come see me for laser for your face," said nurse Tracie Cook, and aesthetic nurse specialist.

Mary Mishiwiec is singing the facility's praises. She had her teeth cleaned and whitened as well as had some discolorations on her nose and cheek lasered off, courtesy the all female staff.

"We're all women treating each other. I think women do a better job of taking care of each other," said Cook.

Every patient gets a free computer skin analysis.

"It takes a 3D picture that goes deeper than your top layer -- that you see -- we look at all the brown spots. Any hyperpigmention that you have -- it does a wrinkle analysis," said Cook.

"Our motto is let us take care of your health, beauty will follow," said Dorin.
