The annual Kaaboo music/art festival is going down Sept. 15-17 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and features incredible headlining acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Kesha, David Guetta, and more. This year's lineup will be the third iteration of the festival, which kicked off in 2015 and has featured iconic music acts like Aerosmith, Snoop Dogg and the Killers the last few years. 2017's Kaaboo is expected to draw over 100,000 people over the weekend.
Other big names scheduled to perform this year include Jane's Addiction, Muse, Ice Cube, Alanis Morissette, Jackson Browne, Live, X Ambassadors, T-Pain, the Wallflowers and Michael McDonald (among many others). Some acts with local ties made it on the bill again this year, including the SD-based reggae rockers Pepper, as well as the San Diego Music Award-winning dirty-blues duo Little Hurricane and Trouble in the Wind -- who won an SDMA themselves this past March!
