San Diego’s North Park community is home to a delicious dining scene and this weekend, foodies can sample their way through dozens of eateries at a popular event.
The 8th annual Taste of North Park goes down from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at more than 50 participating restaurants including Carnitas’ Snack Shack, West Coast Tavern, Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream, Urban Solace, Underbelly and Waypoint Republic, to name a few.
Attendees will be able to sample bite-sized offerings from the 53 participating eateries, as well as sip on samples of craft beer from different breweries at 15 boutiques in the area. For instance, Gallery AKA will host sudsy samples from North Park Beer Co., while Salvage Salon serves samples from Mike Hess Brewing Co. and Dexter’s Deli pours sips from Amplified Ale Works.
