The day all craft beer fans have been waiting for is finally here: Stone Brewing Co. has opened its Liberty Station location.
San Diego’s largest craft brewery is known as one of the top distributors of craft beer in the area, and it has enjoyed incredible success since opening its Escondido bistro and gardens in 2005.
Their newest location at Liberty Station has been a project two years in the making. While the gardens are not completely finished yet, the bistro is up and running.
Fans of the Escondido location won't be disappointed, as the new eatery has the same open, airy feel of its northern counterpart. One of the coolest decorations inside? Beer chandeliers.
CEO and co-founder of Stone Brewing Co. Greg Koch also hopes to open a craft beer hotel by the end of 2014.
Stone Brewing Co. Liberty Station, located at 2816 Historic Decatur Rd., is open 7 days a week, operating from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
