Out at the Globe Celebrates Spirit Day

The wearing of the purple was the talk of the town Thursday night.

Out at the Globe, a theater experience geared towards the LGBT community, invited attendees to participate in Spirit Day.

Spirit Day is part of an anti-bullying campaign focused on not only gay and lesbian youth, but all potential victims of bullying.

Theatergoer Chuck Leib, there to see "Bright Star", said it was important to him to show his support of LGBT youth.

He hoped the sea of purple would spark conversation and bring attention to the pervasiveness of bullying.
