Spring is here and San Marcos is celebrating with its annual seasonal shindig, set to take over the streets this Sunday.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the San Marcos Spring Festival will set up shop on Via Vera Cruz, between San Marcos Boulevard and Grand Avenue, adjacent to restaurant row.
The free, family-friendly fest will include more than 250 arts, craft and food vendors, as well as live entertainment and activities and rides for the kids. This year, the event will also boast a beer garden for the grown-ups and a special pet event.
The annual street fair – running for more than 30 years now – usually tallies about 15,000 to 20,000 attendees, according to the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce.
