Forget the nachos -- Qualcomm Stadium is about to unveil some new culinary creations for fans to enjoy at the stadium this football season.
On Thursday, the stadium’s food service provider, Centerplate, will introduce some new savory options from different stands around the stadium just in time for the Chargers opener on Sept. 9.
The tasty options include a variety of “all natural” meats from the new Metro Deli located in Club Lounge 12, as well as a wide range of barbecue dishes from Qualcomm’s new San Diego Smokehouse eatery.
For healthier football fare, fans will be able to visit The Natural, a new stadium stand that happens to be the first all-natural concession stand in San Diego.
Finally, those hungry for gear rather than snacks will get a chance to sink their teeth into brand new 2013 Chargers merchandise before the season officially begins.
Other foodie favorites at the Q this year include grilled fish tacos and Jamaican jerk sandwiches from the Most Interesting Beach Bar, top-shelf premium cocktails from Margarita Beach and garlic fries from The Natural and Wanaburger stands.
