On Delayed Flight, Point Loma Nazarene University Choir Entertains

Authorities in the Bay Area were clearing the airspace for President Barack Obama's visit to the city

Delayed on a flight heading to San Francisco, a San Diego-area university choir decided to take a moment to help pass the time, doing what they do best: singing.

The Point Loma Nazarene University choir was heading to San Francisco Friday when their Southwest flight was delayed on the tarmac in San Diego.

Authorities in the Bay Area were clearing the airspace for President Barack Obama's visit to the city, Barbara Pentoney, a passenger on the plane, said.

The choir was heading to the area to sing for an event, so the group decided to pass the time on the runway by entertaining the plane's passengers.
