You’re invited to help feed the hungry by eating.
Seven of the food trucks some San Diegans will recognize by name will be in one spot beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday to help raise funds for Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego.
The restaurants on wheels will be serving up their gourmet meals in Kearny Mesa Wednesday.
Chubby’s Food Truck, Haad Sai Thai, New York on Rye, Not So Fast! Food Truck, The Slider House, Tornado Potato and Sweet Treats are confirmed as participants.
It’s the third year the trucks have gotten together for the cause. Organizers say the last two events have raised more than $40,000 for the charity.
If you want to participate, bring your lunch money and head to Kearny Mesa Subaru at 4707 Convoy from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
