Fashion Week San Diego (FWSD) 2015 is seeking a style-savvy correspondent to report from the big show this fall, and perhaps you have what it takes.
FWSD is hosting a contest to fill this correspondent position now through Aug. 28. Fashion-focused candidates must have excellent writing skills, knowledge of the fashion world and a vibrant personality, both on and off camera.
Contestants must also be 21 or older, be based in San Diego and have an extensive understanding of social media.
The winning correspondent with report from the FWSD15 October Runway Shows held Oct. 1 through Oct. 4 in La Jolla, conducting red carpet interviews and covering daily events. The winner will also join NBC 7 this fall as an in-studio guest, delivering a runway recap of the fabulous events.
To get in the running for the gig, applicants will have to watch last year’s 2014 FWSD runway show and critique the event in a write-up that’s 500 words or less, focusing on the fashion, production and overall event.
Applicants will be considered based on the critique, plus writing samples and overall persona.
To apply, submit your resume, critique, link to your blog, additional writing samples, an optional photo and any other materials that may make you stand out to email@example.com by Aug. 28.
