For one night, instead of laundry, chores and carpools, stylish moms can relish in spa treatments, sips and sweets during a night of pampering in honor of National Mom’s Nite Out. Fashion Valley is one of 129 Simon Property Group malls celebrating mom in style with an evening on the town, complete with refreshments, entertainment, beauty and charity.
“Moms are so incredibly deserving of a night off,” said Francine Miley, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Fashion Valley, “and it is our privilege to be the venue where they come to enjoy it.”
Macy’s Center Court will be transformed into an oasis where moms can unwind and indulge in a host of treatments, including mini facials from Origins, makeovers from Aveda and Sephora, drybar hairstyling from Carlton Hair Salon & Day Spa and massages from L'Occitane.
Eateries like California Pizza Kitchen, STACKED and Muscle Beach Lemonade allow mom to indulge in tasty fair, while special in-store promotions like a 20 percent discount at GAP and a free ring cleaning from Kay Jewelers means she can get her shop on.
In addition to being pampered, moms can break out their dancing shoes and sway to the live sounds of Todo Mundo, who blend the musical flavors of Rumba, Reggae, Samba, Gypsy and Caribbean rhythms.
The celebration is open to the public, and the first 200 moms will be treated to swag bags containing an array of treats and retailer surprises.
As an extra bonus, moms will have a chance to enter a nationwide sweepstakes to win a trip for two to Chicago to see Bon Jovi’s “Because We Can” tour at historic Soldier Field on Friday, July 12th. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
Even while mom is enjoying the chance to network and take the night off during this national celebration of motherhood, she can still give back to a deserving cause. Fashion Valley will honor the San Diego nonprofit Tariq Khamisa Foundation, which is dedicated to stopping youth violence through education, mentoring and community service. Attendees will have a chance to learn more about the organization and how to help.
