Harney Sushi
Yelpy Insight: Liked by 20-somethings
301 Mission Ave., Oceanside
This 5-year-old hot spot in O-side has pretty young things, a sexy vibe and the décor to match. A monthly calendar of DJ’s spinning on the weekends can be found on their webpage and Yelpers report the Miso Harney roll is a local fav. Sit down dining is fabulous, but don’t forget the patio lounge and the sushi bar, it’s the best place to shimmy into a seat next to nightlife newbies up North.

The 3rd Corner

Yelpy Insight: Liked by 30-somethings
897 S Coast Highway 101, Encinitas
What’s on the menu at The 3rd Corner? Besides delightful California cuisine, they’re serving up the perfect ambiance for an after work meet up, a girl’s night out or a first date. Grab a bottle of wine from the racks and pop it for only a $5 corkage fee. At 30-something, you’re just getting started, and 3rd corner doesn’t give you a bed-time, they’re open with a full menu till 1 a.m.

Churchhill’s Pub & Grille

Yelpy Insight: Liked by 30-somethings
887 W San Marcos Blvd., San Marcos
If at 30 you’re “so over it” and just want a low key joint to relax in, head to this San Marcos watering hole. There is a full event calendar with events ranging from beer tastings and industry nights, to 55-cent wings on Wednesdays and a Happy Hour on Sundays that starts at 10 a.m. This pub preaches above bar food and an impressive beer selection, perfect for the experienced palate.

Burlap
Yelpy Insight: Liked by 40-somethings
12995 El Camino Real, Del Mar Heights
“What’s your sign” has a whole new meaning at Burlap: Their drinks titles based on the Chinese Zodiac with names the The Cock and The Rat will have you and your favorite cougar cuddled up for happy hour or a late night date in no time. If you prefer Del Mar day drinking, snag a mimosa with the brunch crowd, they rave about the Korean Fried Chicken and the Short Rib Hash.

Mille Fleurs Restaurant

Yelpy Insight: Liked by 40-somethings
6009 Paseo Delicias, Rancho Santa Fe
Like a fine wine, Mille Fleurs seems to get better with age. Established diners in their primes frequent this French favorite in RSF and enjoy Happy Hour from 3-5:30 p.m. on the patio (dog friendly) or in the Fountain Room. They’ll add some spring in your step with farm to table menu options like local veggies, even found in the Sweet Pea Martini! For those who understand life’s curves and know the way to (Rancho) Santa Fe.
