Comic-Con 2014: Outside Hall H on Friday

One of the highlights of Comic-Con 2014 Friday is undoubtedly the Hall H appearance of HBO's "Game of Thrones" cast members Kit Harington, Maisie Williams and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

If you’re not fortunate to get a good spot in line for the GOT panel, there are other interesting things to find outside of Hall H on Friday.

Early in the morning, get your geek on with the writers from “The Big Bang Theory” and then end the day with an inside look at a Metallica concert tailgate with commentary from the band.

In between, there are plenty of options for Comic-Con badge holders.

Too realistic? Then check out the panel looking at tricks you can use to create more exciting sword fights.

There’s also a bit of the controversial from experts debating “Is it Steampunk?”, to those investigating the difference between gay horror and regular horror and even more experts following the money in pop culture to decide the question once and for all – has geek peaked?

Other gems in the Friday schedule: debunking zombie myths, Mexican animation and creating comic art with an iPad.
