Last weekend's win by the San Diego Chargers was the talk of the town-- that is, until quarterback Philip Rivers showed up in his bolo tie. NBC 7's Dave Summers reports.

Chargers fans who want to support the team in their upcoming playoff game can also get some free food.

Popular local eatery Puesto is offering a free taco to anyone wearing a bolo tie like the one quarterback Philip Rivers has famously been wearing in postgame press conferences.

The offer is available all week leading up to Sunday's game in Denver against the Broncos at Puesto's two locations, at 1026 Wall St. in La Jolla and at The Headquarters, 789 W. Harbor Dr.

Rivers is making national news with his choice of postgame wear, opting for a bolo tie made by a local man after Sunday's playoff victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Chargers fans across the county erupted in cheer after the team beat the Bengals on Sunday. NBC 7's Candice Nguyen reports live at Chargers Park where some fans were awaiting the team's arrival back to San Diego.

Clearly, with free food now in the mix, the buzz behind the bolo is strong.
