Olympic Viewing Guide: Men's Diver Hopes to Set Team Record

Troy Dumais hopes to become first man to make diving team four times

The major U.S. Olympic trials are under way through July 2 in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Live coverage of many events can be found on the NBC Sports Network, and selected videos will appear on NBCOlympics.com. Here's what you should watch Wednesday June 20:

The event: Diving semifinals, men's and women's 3m springboard and women's 10m platform

When: 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. ET, NBC Sports Network

Where: Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.

Ones to watch: Three-time Olympian Troy Dumais, 32, also a 35-time national champion, will attempt to become the first U.S. male diver to make four Olympic teams. He competes in the 3m and synchronized events. Named USA Diving's athlete of the year in 1997, 2006 and 2009, he came in sixth at the 2008 Olympics in the men's 3m individual.

On the women's side, Christina Loukas from Chicago, came in ninth in the 3m event in 2008, and will try to make the team again. This nine-time national champion's primary competition at the trials will be her 2008 Olympic teammate Kelci Bryant, her synchro partner Kassidy Cook, and Cassidy Krug according to Sports Illustrated. Fun fact: Loukas' family owns Cubby Bear Lounge outside Wrigley Field.

What happens: The top two finishers in each individual event will go to London. Finals are later this week.
