Right-wing talkmeister Rush Limbaugh will give voice to his own cartoon character on Sunday's episode of "Family Guy," and although the show usually tacks left, he says he comes off "like a champ."

The plot calls for Limbaugh to appear at the Quahog Mall for a book-signing. Liberal Brian decides to go to the event to tell off the talker, but when Rush unexpectedly comes to Brian’s rescue, Brian has a political change of heart. Of course, this doesn't happen until after Limbaugh calls Brian "a maggot-infested member of the blame-America-first crowd."

Limbaugh said he’s bringing his “usual bravado and bombast” to the performance, which was recorded a year ago.

"I come out looking like a champ on this thing," he said.

Limbaugh said he likes the show's left-wing creator, Seth MacFarlane, and said the show "crosses the line every night that it's on."

“He’s a Hollywood liberal, but we get along,” Limbaugh said.
