Obama to Appear on Letterman's “Late Show”

President Obama will end a weekend media blitz with an appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" Monday evening, where he'll be the first-ever sitting U.S. President to sit down with the talk show host on-air.

Obama, who was featured in a staged mash-up of past interviews on the premiere of Jay Leno's new show Monday, will be the only guest on Letterman's CBS broadcast Sept. 21.

The president appeared on Leno's "Tonight Show" on NBC last March two months after his January inauguration.

He'll also appear on "This Week," "Face the Nation," and "Meet The Press" this weekend.
