“Community,” “Homeland,” “The Voice” Win at Critics Choice

"Parks and Rec" star Amy Poehler tied with "New Girl" Zooey Deschanel for a top prize, too

"Community," "Homeland" and "The Voice" were a few of the big winners at the Critics Choice Television Awards on Monday night.

Showtime's drama-thriller "Homeland" came away with a best drama series prize, plus a best actress win for star Claire Danes. With a Golden Globe win this year, the show could be headed for an Emmy.

NBC dominated much of the rest of the awards show and with five wins was the most prize-winning network.

Its hit singing competition "The Voice" won for best reality competition, "Community" won best comedy and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" won best talk show.

Two comediennes tied for the honor of best actress in a comedy: Amy Poehler of NBC's mockumentary "Parks and Recreation" and Zooey Deschanel for Fox's "New Girl."

Bryan Cranston and Giancarlo Esposito won for best actor and best supporting actor, respectively, for their roles in AMC's meth drama "Breaking Bad." Comedian Louis C.K. took home the comedy honor for FX's "Louie."

The other supporting nods went to AMC's "Mad Men" bombshell Christina Hendricks and to small screen couple Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen of ABC's "Modern Family."

Four-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore won for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in HBO's "Game Change." British-made PBS miniseries "Sherlock" and its star Benedict Cumberbatch won in the same movie/miniseries category, just added this year for the second annual ceremony.
