There are two things that scare "Lost" fans: 1) Smoke monsters, and 2) Postponing the season 6 premiere.

Fortunately for Losties, one of those things is now off the table.

Flashback to early last week, the White House was still deciding on a date for President Barack Obama's State of the Union address. The two dates being kicked around were Jan. 26 and Feb. 2.

Any good "Lost" fan will tell you Feb. 2 is not to be messed with. That's the date of the season 6 premiere.

As with any populous outrage, Facebook groups (example A and B) started popping up and outrage filled the tweets of America.

But on Friday, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs calmed the storm.

"I don't foresee a scenario in which the millions of people that hope to finally get some conclusion in 'Lost' are preempted by the president," said Gibbs.

Producer Carlton Cuse was in good spirits about the news on his Twitter page.

"In exchange for moving his speech, Damon (Lindelof) and I promise to answer ANY questions the President has about LOST," he tweeted.

The White House hasn't confirmed a new date for the speech, but for now, it appears Obama and "Lost" fan have made nice.
